I have encountered the Weston A. Price Foundation one too many times while doing food industry research for class.
The passive-aggressive language, pseudo-documentary tone, dark references to the results of 'unpublished studies' (with an implication that they were suppressed by the big bad food industry) and evangelical worldview annoy me.
That, and if I'm checking 100 sources, 99 inevitably say one thing, and Weston A. Prince says another. Not even the leftist Food Commies agree with the Price Foundation's claims.
So, um... shenanigans.1
1 I'm tired of people who lie with extensive footnotes, as if the mere presence of the foonotes legitimizes what they say. Though really the 'if you do not believe us you are a a sad unenlightened tool of the food industry' attitude is what pisses me off most.
