Transparent aluminum (alumina) a couple years ago, teleportation via quantum entanglement, and Maxwell's Demon.

...shit. Part of me is scared. As much as people bitch about the speed of change now- it's just going to get faster... and stranger.

Quantum intangibility and time travel are up next... though time travel probably wont' happen as long as the scienific establishment clings to the existence of 'dark matter.'
